Cannon & Cannon was asked to prepare preliminary design to include preliminary luminaire placement, conduit layout, and photometrics for City and KUB review. CCI also provided final design drawings for the project. Pavement modification plans were also made during this process as well as a traffic signal plan that includes pedestrian actuated signals. These plans included new pedestrian signal heads, pedestrian push buttons, and associated wiring. The decorative street lighting not only compliments the work that is still progressing in downtown Knoxville but provides a functional and safe way for pedestrians to enjoy the city.
