UTILITIES PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER (PE) IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

This person will serve as a Project Manager and will manage project teams to design water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include managing projects, client interfacing/coordination, QA/QC, budgeting, and mentoring a team of engineers/designers. Management of the project includes conceptual to design to project closeout.

Minimum qualifications include:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college
• Four (4) years of experience working in water/wastewater utility projects
• Experience in natural gas projects is a bonus
• P.E. Registration in Tennessee and/or Kentucky, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year
• Work in our Knoxville office as well as the company’s Remote Work Policy

CIVIL SITE PROJECT MANAGER/SENIOR ENGINEER (PE) IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

This person will serve as a Project Manager and will manage project teams to design public works, private and industrial/institutional site development projects. Responsibilities include managing projects, client interfacing/coordination, QA/QC, budgeting, and mentoring a team of engineers/designers. • Eight (8) years of experience working in civil site projects
• P.E. Registration in Tennessee and/or Kentucky, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an accredited college
• Six (6) years of experience working in water and/or wastewater projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Work in our Memphis office

ELECTRIC UTILITIES PROJECT ENGINEER IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an ABET Accredited college
• Ten (10) years of experience working in electric utility projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Transmission and distribution line design
• Electric System Modeling/Master Planning
• Substation design is a bonus
• Work in our Knoxville, TN office

TRANSPORTATION PROJECT ENGINEER IN OUR MEMPHIS, TN OFFICE

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an accredited college
• Six (6) years of experience working in Transportation projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Experience in roadway and/or traffic signalization design projects
• Work in our Memphis, TN office

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS WRITER

CCI is looking for a Marketing Communications Writer to join our team. This person will work alongside our Marketing Coordinator and leadership staff to enhance company-wide deliverables. Responsibilities include updating employee resumes, coordinating and editing Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications, writing and editing company-wide emails, and more.
Minimum qualifications include:

  • 2 years of related experience in technical writing, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is proactive, resourceful, a self-starter and can easily multi-task against deadlines and be willing to train on proposal pursuits (RFPs, RFQs, 330 submittals)
  • Has proven capabilities to write messaging for various content channels (website, email, etc)
  • Work in our Knoxville office as well as the company’s Remote Work Policy

Experience with Adobe Indesign would be great but not required.

TRAFFIC ENGINEER (EI) IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

This person will serve as a designer on a variety of TDOT, municipal, and privately-funded traffic engineering projects. The position requires involvement with project production; CADD production; traffic analysis; and quality control.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college
  • An Engineering Intern (EI) Registration or the ability to obtain within one (1) year
  • Experience in traffic design, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) design, traffic studies, and/or traffic control plan development is a bonus
  • Ability to utilize MicroStation is desired
  • Work in our Knoxville office
