UTILITIES PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER (PE) IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

This person will serve as a Project Manager and will manage project teams to design water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include managing projects, client interfacing/coordination, QA/QC, budgeting, and mentoring a team of engineers/designers. Management of the project includes conceptual to design to project closeout.

Minimum qualifications include:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college
• Four (4) years of experience working in water/wastewater utility projects
• Experience in natural gas projects is a bonus
• P.E. Registration in Tennessee and/or Kentucky, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year
• Work in our Knoxville office as well as the company’s Remote Work Policy

ELECTRIC UTILITIES PROJECT ENGINEER IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an ABET Accredited college
• Ten (10) years of experience working in electric utility projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Transmission and distribution line design
• Electric System Modeling/Master Planning
• Substation design is a bonus
• Work in our Knoxville, TN office

UTILITIES (WATER AND WASTEWATER) PROJECT ENGINEER IN OUR MEMPHIS, TN OFFICE

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an accredited college
• Six (6) years of experience working in water and/or wastewater projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Work in our Memphis office

TRANSPORTATION PROJECT ENGINEER IN OUR MEMPHIS, TN OFFICE

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering at an accredited college
• Six (6) years of experience working in Transportation projects
• P.E. in Kentucky and/or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain P.E. within one (1) year of hiring
• Experience in roadway and/or traffic signalization design projects
• Work in our Memphis, TN office

SURVEY CADD TECHNICIAN IN OUR KNOXVILLE, TN OFFICE

Cannon & Cannon, Inc seeks a CADD technician with interests/experience in survey. This individual will process survey field data on a variety of civil site, roadway, utilities, and other various engineering projects. The position requires processing survey information using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Open Roads. This person reports to the Knoxville Survey Team Leader.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Associate’s degree in Technology from an accredited college or work experience using Civil 3D to develop drawings in the surveying and/or civil engineering field
• Experience with MicroStation Open Roads is advantageous
• Ability to work in our Knoxville, TN office
